<< INTRODUCTION >>
Bodie's Typing is a program to learn typing. In a group of exercises to achieve a gradual training of the fingers of both hands to acquire a writing automatic typing, and having as objective that the student memorizes the location of each key that he writes correctly and without the necessity of looking at the keyboard.
<< REQUIREMENTS >>
- PC with Pentium I
- Operative System: Windows 9x, Me, NT, 2000, Xp.
- Memory: 32 MB
- Space in Disk: 50 KB approximately.
<< INSTALLATION >>
- the program doesn't need installation.
- if you obtain all the files inside a .ZIP (not to open up with double clic); extracting all the files inside oneself folder (it is extracted making right clic of the mouse on the file .ZIP and of the contextual menu you choose - extract to folder...). Example to make the extraction inside C:\ProgramFiles\Typing, verifying that are inside this folder "Typing", all the files that the .ZIP contains.
<< HOW TO USE >>
- When executing the program, it will have in screen the 1║ lesson and you will be able to choose the language of the course, (English is defect). The Spanish language includes the use of the letter ╤.
- The time won't begin until you don't begin to write.
- Remember you that when concluding each line, you don't owe to press Enter to pass to the following one.
If the lines finishes with a word or text and the same one is to the right border you owe to press the "Space" of your keyboard to generate a space and then to continue writing.
- You can to move to the lesson that you want, just press the combo box and choose the corresponding lesson
- The program will emit a sound if the letter or character that you pressed are not the correct one.
- When you finishing of writing the text correctly, the time that you delayed in writing it will be show, and will move to the following lesson. Also the program will save a file named "logTyping.txt" inside the folder that contains the program with your register (time and average typing).
- The lessons that include the combination of keys "Alt+number" mean that you should maintain
press the key "Alt" with your left hand and press the numbers corresponding with the right hand.
<< UNINSTALL >>
- Only delete the file "typing.exe" and the file ".ZIP" downloaded from the Net.
The program not modify anything inside the Windows registry (excepting one key with the language selected).
